Made by Hand. Built to Last.
The Sterling Chair is named for the colour it almost is — and the quality it always is.
Sterling silver. Cool, composed, caught between grey and light in a way that changes depending on what surrounds it. Against a dark wall it glows. In a pale room it grounds. It is one of those rare tones that never fights its environment and always improves it.
The form earns the name just as honestly. A tapered wingback silhouette that rises to a clean peak — not a traditional wing but a contemporary interpretation, more architectural than decorative. The back carries vertical channel stitching that runs from seat to crown in unbroken lines, referencing the fluted columns of classical architecture in the quietest possible way. Open arms that invite rather than enclose. Slender espresso legs that taper to a point and lift the whole form off the floor with precision.
It works as a dining chair for a room that takes its table seriously. It works as an accent chair in a study or bedroom corner. It works, most of all, in pairs — two Sterlings facing each other across a small table is a vignette that needs nothing added to it.
Shown here as a pair with a round side table and decorative sculpture, available separately.
